I have just broken one of my cardinal rules; I have bought a cue with a slightly faded badge. This cue is a four point hand spliced version which is quite rare. I have seen more butterfly spliced versions of this type of cue but the badge is always the same as far as I can remember. I like the fact that the cue has a two coloured badge with brown and green print.
