Cues from the 1970s

I have made a decision not to buy many more cues from the 1970s it seems to me that on the whole this was a very strange era when cues appeared with splices that were uneven and a lot of very lightweight timber being used for the shafts of the cues that were available. I have several items from this era which are in very good condition but do not want the appearance of the larger collection to suffer from the inclusion of too many such cues.
