A friend from Newcastle some time ago sold me four machine-spliced cues, two Riley Prestige Dufferin cues endorsed by Steve Davis, a Clare Thurston Padmore Masterstroke cue and a Peradon and Fletcher Truestroke cue. This latter cue is an interesting item from the 1970s which has a laminated shaft made from six separate pieces of maple; these cues were made for export to countries with severe climatic changes to ensure that the cue would stay straight.
