Mike Russell, the former world billiards champion has been in touch with Cues n Views to say that he is currently seeking a new cue.
Mike has won many major Billiards titles all over the world and was runner up to Peter Gilchrist in last year’s World Billiards final.
Mike is seeking a Burroughes & Watts “Burwat Champion”. These cues have long been associated with quality play and are, as you no doubt agree, one of the more attractive looking older cues around.
Some of the newer cues are black butted while earlier versions have a stripey wood used for the butt, this wood looks at a glance a little like Rosewood, in fact it is Maccasar Ebony. This is the type of cue that Mike is looking for.
If you can help, send an image or a detailed description of your cue, so that I can discuss it with Mike and perhaps come to some arrangement to get the cue to him.
