Did you know that Fred Davis used the same cue throughout his entire career. I have been told that it was a Cannon Match cue. This as yet remains unconfirmed but if you look in his book, “Talking Snooker” in a number of the pictures the cue could very easily be a Cannon, it has to be said that it would have helped the identification process greatly if these pictures had been in colour.
