Billiards & Snooker Teasers Explained 1953-1954, published by Burroughs and Watts.

Between the early 1930s and the late 1960s, Burroughes & Watts Limited published a series of small annual booklets titled Billiards and Snooker Teasers Explained and a Guide to Economical Spending. These were released almost every year, with the exception of the war years from 1939 to 1945.

Aimed at engaging players, the booklets tackled tricky questions about the rules of billiards and snooker. However, their primary purpose was promotional ans each edition also served as a price list for the company’s product range.

Today, these booklets offer a valuable historical snapshot of the cues produced by Burroughes & Watts.
