Terry Griffiths cue
The Terry Griffiths Hand Spliced cue.
This cue puts me in mind of the Snooker players from the 1970s and 80s that we have lost recently.
These players laid the foundation for the game we have today. Many were amongst the first to take it to new countries.
The cue is hand spliced. The most recently acquired version has the Thurston-Clare-Padmore disc and is a nice example.
Terry Griffiths won the World Snooker Championship at his first attempt in 1979, the cue is almost certainly from shortly after.
