Sloans Presentation cue

The Sloan’s Presentation cue, an interesting cue.

The cue is machine spliced.

W J Sloan built up a string of billiard halls in the North of England in the early 1900s, so it would have been worth his while to have had a batch of cues made up for competitions at the various venues.

Sloan bought the table on which Tom Reece made his 499,185 break from Burroughes & Watts and installed it in his Hull saloon in 1907.

Most of Sloan’s halls were still running between the wars, so the cue could be from that era.
